The Spro Mini Bucktail is a smaller version of the already famous Spro Prime Series of Bucktails. With the same beautiful finish, design and action as its bigger brother, these Mini Bucktails help fishermen when a finesse size offering is needed. The Spro Mini Bucktail is the perfect imitator of a spearing, minnow or many other small types of bait. Spro Mini Bucktail Jig is the basic jig to catch fish. Jigged off the bottom or tipped with a bait there is no wrong way to fish a Spro Mini Jig. Made with premium bucktail with a stream of flash, “sticky sharp” hook and a realistic head design these jigs are just like it’s bigger brother but in a more compact package!Use them for freshwater species; Bass, Hybrids, Crappie, Trout, Catfish…etc. Use them for saltwater species; Stripers, Sea Trout, Weakfish, Fluke, Flounder, Bluefish, Redfish, Snook… etc. Just about anything that swims will hit a Spro Mini Bucktail Jig. When the current is right simply cast one out by itself and work it so very slowly. Rig them on dropper loops or as a teaser for use with a lure behind. Tipped with or without bait these jigs work. Choose an appropriate Gulp! Grub style bait and you will find the combination is simply deadly. These jigs all have about a 2″ overall length.
Additional Notes:
- Keep in mind that these hooks are delicate.
- To limit hook breakage, be careful when removing from fish.
- You may need to “trim” off a properly sized piece of Gulp for use on jig. (A little cut disk can do the job)
- These little jigs should surprise you with their productivity.
