The Floor Below Nozzle has been specifically designed for fighting fires in high-rise buildings from the floor below at an effective angle and flow rate.

It is not uncommon to experience wind-driven and high heat conditions in high-rise building fires that can challenge conventional tactics. The Floor Below Nozzle provides a field-tested solution allowing crews to flow water from the floor below. Having an overall length of 101″ (2.57m), the Floor Below Nozzle comes in a two-piece design making transport to upper floors and storage easier. Equipped with a built-in 2-1/2″ XD Shutoff with a forged metal bale handle on the inlet side, the outlet side has a 1.5″ male fitting. Attaching a 1-1/8″ tip (sold separately) would allow flows of 265 gpm (1000 lpm) at 50 psi (3.5 bar)—powder-coated blue finish for easy identification.
